The Canal Side Guest House has been in operation for 25 years under the guidance of proprietors and homeowners Rod and Jen Mann. Rod's passion for historical preservation in combination with his vast cycling experiences, gave him the insight to create an antique filled comfortable home.

The Canal Side Guest House  is a place where travelers can launch a nice getaway to our region's many outdoor activities and historical sites.  Bicycling, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and more are favorite activities due to the close proximity of some awesome parks.  Locally, we also have the Jim Thorpe and southern Pocono tourist activities and attractions .

We earned the designation  as a trail friendly business by the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage  Corridor.

Finally, we are only a mile from the turnpike and less than a mile from 209, 443 and 248 making trips here very simple.
